Social Link Block Element Settings

What is the Social Link Block, and why use it?

The Social Link Block is a set of clickable social media icons — Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and so on — that you place on your page as one neat group.

Why use it? Because it lets visitors find and follow you everywhere else with a single click. Instead of typing out "find us on Instagram," you just show the Instagram icon, link it to your profile, and let people tap through. It's a small element that builds trust (real brands have a social presence) and keeps your audience connected to you beyond the page.

Quick reminder on where elements live: Every FlexiFunnels page follows the same structure — Section → Row → Element. A Section is a horizontal band of the page, a Row sits inside it, and an Element (like this Social Link Block) sits inside a Row. So you'll need a Row ready before you can drop the block in.

Quick Video:

Step 1: Add the Social Link Block to your page

In the Landing Page Editor, find the Social Link Block element in the elements panel and drag it into the Row where you want it (commonly the footer or header).

Step 2: Style it — making the block look right

Click the element to open its settings, then go to Style Settings → Social Settings. Here's what each control does.

Social Themes — Ready-made looks for your icons (different colors and styles). Pick a theme to instantly restyle the whole block — the fastest way to get a polished result.

Icon Size — Makes the icons bigger or smaller. Larger icons grab more attention; smaller ones stay subtle.

Icon Alignment — Positions the icons left, center, or right within their space.

Text Color — The color of the icon symbols themselves (the little Facebook "f," etc.).

Background Color — The color of the box sitting behind each icon.

Space Between — The gap between one icon and the next. More space = a more spread-out, airy look.

Border — Adds a line around the icons. Once a border is on, you can also set its Border Color. (A border is just an outline drawn around the edge.)

Border Shape & Radius — Changes the shape of each icon's box: Square, Oval, or Circle. The radius controls how rounded the corners are — low number = sharp corners, high number = soft, rounded ones.

Step 3: Configure the links — making the block work right

This is where you decide which social networks appear and where each one links to. Open the Advanced Settings tab.

Position

Sets where the whole block sits relative to other content: left, right, or inline (flowing in line with surrounding elements).

Social Type — adding and editing your networks

This is the heart of the element. From here you choose which platforms to show and paste in your profile links.

To add a new social icon:

  • Click to add a new social type.
  • Choose the platform (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
  • Paste the full URL of your profile or page into the link field.

To edit an existing icon:

  1. Click the icon you want to change.

        2. Update its platform, its link, or remove it entirely.

What counts as a "full URL"? It's the complete web address starting with https:// — for example https://instagram.com/yourname, not just instagram.com/yourname or your handle @yourname. A partial address is the #1 reason a social icon links to the wrong place (or nowhere).

Common situations & quick fixes

Check these before contacting support — they cover the most frequent issues.

"My social icon doesn't go anywhere when clicked / links to the wrong page." → Open Advanced Settings → Social Type, click that icon, and check the URL. It must be the complete address starting with https://. Replace any handle (@yourname) or partial link with the full profile URL.

"The link works in the editor but not on my live page." → Always test on the published or preview page, not the editor canvas. Save your changes, publish, then click the icons on the live version.

"My icons are stacking weirdly or running off the edge on mobile." → Reduce the Icon Size and Space Between values so all icons fit a narrow screen. Then switch to the mobile view in the editor to confirm.

"I added an icon but it's not showing." → Make sure you (1) selected a platform and (2) saved a URL for it. An icon with no link assigned may not display. Re-open the icon under Social Type and confirm both fields are filled.

"My icons look plain / don't match my brand colors." → Try a different Social Theme first for a quick fix. For finer control, adjust Text Color and Background Color manually.

"The icons aren't centered where I want them." → There are two separate controls here. Icon Alignment moves the icons within their space; Position (left/right/inline) moves the whole block on the page. Adjust whichever one matches what you're trying to fix.

"I want to remove a social network I no longer use." → Open Social Type, click the icon, and delete it. Don't just clear the URL — remove the whole icon so it doesn't show as an empty space.

Need more help?

If your social icons still aren't working after the steps above, submit a ticket and include:

  • The page URL where the block appears
  • Which icon is misbehaving and the URL you entered for it
  • A screenshot of your Advanced Settings → Social Type panel
  • What you expected vs. what actually happened
