Godaddy Domain integrations with FlexiFunnels

Modified on Tue, 7 Jul at 1:49 AM

Overview

You can connect your GoDaddy domain to FlexiFunnels by adding the required DNS records in your GoDaddy account and then verifying the domain inside FlexiFunnels.

Once the domain is successfully connected, you can use it for your funnels, websites, landing pages, checkout pages, and other FlexiFunnels projects.

Important: FlexiFunnels uses the following IP address for primary domain integration:

137.66.21.168

If you're following an older video tutorial, you may notice a different IP address. Always use the IP address listed above, as it is the latest supported configuration.

Before You Begin

Before starting the integration, make sure:

  • You own a domain registered with GoDaddy.
  • The domain is active and not expired.
  • You have access to your GoDaddy DNS settings.
  • You have access to the Domains section inside FlexiFunnels.

Note: DNS changes are not applied instantly. It may take anywhere from a few minutes up to 24–48 hours for DNS changes to fully propagate worldwide.

Step 2: Add DNS Records

Depending on whether you are integrating a primary domain or a subdomain, you need to add specific DNS records.

For Primary Domain Integration

  2. Select A Record.

  3. Enter the following details:

  4. Save the record.

For Subdomain Integration

  2. Navigate to the Domains section.

  3. Click on Add Domain.

Common Scenarios

Domain verification is failing.

Verify the following:

  • The correct DNS record has been added.
  • The Host field is entered correctly (@ for the primary domain or the subdomain name for subdomains).
  • The IP address is 137.66.21.168 for A records.
  • The CNAME points to target.flexissl.net.
  • There are no spelling mistakes.

My SSL certificate is still pending.

This is usually caused by DNS propagation.

Please allow up to 24–48 hours after updating your DNS records.

SSL certificates cannot be issued until the DNS records have propagated successfully.

My domain opens another website.

This usually indicates that:

  • Old DNS records are still active.
  • The A Record points to another hosting provider.
  • The domain is still connected to another platform.

Review your DNS settings and remove any conflicting records if necessary.

I added the DNS records, but FlexiFunnels still can't verify my domain.

Check the following:

  • Have you saved the DNS records in GoDaddy?
  • Has enough time passed for DNS propagation?
  • Did you enter the correct Host values?
  • Are there duplicate A Records or CNAME Records causing conflicts?

Should I use an A Record or a CNAME Record?

Use:

  • A Record for your primary/root domain (yourdomain.com)
  • CNAME Record for subdomains (courses.yourdomain.com)

Using the wrong record type may prevent successful verification.

Best Practices

  • Use only the DNS records provided by FlexiFunnels.
  • Avoid creating duplicate A Records for the same Host.
  • Remove conflicting DNS records if they point to another hosting provider.
  • Allow DNS propagation to complete before repeatedly clicking Verify Domain.
  • Test your domain in an Incognito/Private browser window after verification.
