How to manage payment gateway integrations, connect custom domains, and control where your pages live using Claude or ChatGPT, once connected via MCP.
Overview
Before you can accept payments or publish pages on your own web address, you need payment gateways and domains properly set up. Once Claude or ChatGPT is connected to your FlexiFunnels account via MCP, you can manage these settings directly from your chat.
This article covers:
- Adding a new payment gateway integration
- Enabling or disabling a payment integration
- Adding and verifying a custom domain
- Adding and verifying an email-sending domain
- Viewing all your domains and email domains
- Setting the default homepage for a domain
Before You Begin
- Make sure FlexiFunnels is connected to Claude (as a Connector) or ChatGPT (as a Plugin). See Connecting Claude to FlexiFunnels via MCP or Connecting ChatGPT to FlexiFunnels via MCP if you haven't done this yet.
- Have your payment gateway account credentials ready if adding a new integration.
- Have access to your domain's DNS settings (through your domain registrar) if adding or verifying a custom domain — this part must be done manually, outside of FlexiFunnels and outside of Claude/ChatGPT.
Step-by-Step: Common Payment & Domain Tasks
Step 1: Add a Payment Integration
- Tell Claude or ChatGPT which payment gateway you want to connect, with your credentials ready.
Example Prompt: "In FlexiFunnels, add my Razorpay account as a new payment integration."
Step 2: Enable or Disable a Payment Integration
- Disable an integration temporarily without deleting it, and re-enable it later.
Example Prompt: "Disable my old Stripe integration in FlexiFunnels."
Be Careful: Disabling a payment integration that's actively connected to a live product will prevent customers from completing checkout on that product.
Step 3: Add and Verify a Custom Domain
- Add your domain to FlexiFunnels through your chat.
- Update your domain's DNS settings yourself, through your domain registrar (e.g. GoDaddy) — this step happens outside of FlexiFunnels and can't be done by Claude or ChatGPT on your behalf.
- Once your DNS records are updated, ask for the domain to be verified.
Example Prompt: "Add mycoursesite.com as a custom domain in FlexiFunnels." then later: "Verify my domain mycoursesite.com."
Tip: DNS changes can take time to propagate. If verification fails right after updating your DNS records, wait a while and try again.
Step 4: Add and Verify an Email-Sending Domain
- Follow the same add-then-verify process as a regular domain, specifically for your email-sending domain.
Example Prompt: "Add mail.mycoursesite.com as my email-sending domain in FlexiFunnels and verify it."
Step 5: View Your Domains
- Ask for a list of all domains, or specifically your email domains.
Example Prompt: "Show me all the domains connected to my FlexiFunnels account."
Step 6: Set a Default Homepage
- Choose which page loads when someone visits your domain directly.
Example Prompt: "Set my main landing page as the homepage for mycoursesite.com in FlexiFunnels."

Good to Know: These are the same MCP tools used by Flexi Genie — Claude and ChatGPT simply give you a different chat interface to access them from. Note that adding a domain via MCP does not include purchasing it; buying a domain directly inside FlexiFunnels is a feature the FlexiFunnels team has planned for the future, but is not available yet.
Ready-to-Use Prompts
"In FlexiFunnels, add my Stripe account as a new payment gateway."
"Connect the domain mybrand.com to my FlexiFunnels account."
"Verify my FlexiFunnels domain mybrand.com now that I've updated the DNS records."
Tips for Better Results
- Mention "FlexiFunnels" explicitly if you have other connectors/plugins active in the same chat.
- Double-check gateway credentials before adding a payment integration.
- Remember that DNS changes for a domain must be made yourself, outside of Claude or ChatGPT, at your domain registrar.
Common Issues / Troubleshooting
Domain Verification Failing: Confirm your DNS records match exactly what FlexiFunnels requires, and allow time for DNS changes to propagate before retrying.
Checkout Not Working After Adding a Gateway: Confirm the payment integration is enabled and correctly attached to the specific product being sold.
Limitations / Important Notes
- Domain verification depends on DNS changes made outside of FlexiFunnels, at your domain registrar — this cannot be automated by Claude or ChatGPT.
- Purchasing a domain directly inside FlexiFunnels is planned for the future but not currently available.
