Overview
The Floating Video feature in FlexiFunnels Membership allows learners to continue watching their course videos while navigating through different sections of a lesson. Instead of stopping the video when switching tabs, the video automatically minimizes and floats on the screen, ensuring an uninterrupted learning experience.
This feature is especially useful for learners who want to watch the lesson while reading notes, participating in discussions, or reviewing lesson information.

How the Floating Video Feature Works
When you play a video lesson inside your Membership Course and navigate to another section of the same
lesson, the video automatically shrinks into a floating player.
The floating player stays visible on your screen, allowing you to continue watching the lesson while accessing other learning resources.
For example, while your video continues playing, you can switch to:
- About Lesson – Read lesson details and descriptions.
- Discussions – View or participate in community discussions.
- Notes – Review or create notes without interrupting the video.
This allows you to learn more efficiently without repeatedly pausing or replaying your videos.
Benefits of the Floating Video Feature
Uninterrupted Learning
Continue watching your lessons while exploring additional course content without stopping the video.
Better Multitasking
Read lesson descriptions, take notes, or participate in discussions while the video continues playing.
Improved Learning Experience
Reduce interruptions and maintain your focus throughout the lesson.
Increased Productivity
Learn faster by accessing multiple learning resources simultaneously instead of switching back and forth between video playback and course content.
Common Scenarios
I switched to the Notes tab, and the video continued playing.
This is the expected behavior. The Floating Video feature is designed to keep your video playing while you navigate between supported sections of the lesson.
The video automatically moved to the corner of the screen.
This is normal. The video player minimizes into a floating window so you can continue watching while viewing other lesson content.
I can still control the video while it's floating.
Yes. You can continue using the video controls (such as Play, Pause, or Seek) directly from the floating player, depending on the video provider and player controls available.

The Floating Video feature may not function as expected in the following situations:
- The video has not started playing.
- The lesson does not contain a supported video.
- Your internet connection is unstable, causing playback interruptions.
- Your browser is outdated or unsupported.
- Browser extensions or privacy settings are interfering with video playback.
Troubleshooting
If the Floating Video feature isn't working, try the following:
- Refresh the page and play the video again.
- Ensure the video starts playing before switching to another lesson tab.
- Use the latest version of a supported browser such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox.
- Disable browser extensions that may block media playback.
- Check your internet connection.
