Automatic Invoicing on Every Other Gateway

Modified on Wed, 14 Oct at 4:52 PM

Using a gateway that doesn't support auto-pay? You can still sell subscriptions. FlexiFunnels automatically emails your customers an invoice every billing cycle, so they can pay in one click.

How It Works

  1. The customer subscribes to your product.
  2. When the next billing cycle is due, FlexiFunnels automatically emails them an invoice.
  3. The customer clicks the payment link in the email and pays in one click.
  4. The subscription continues for that cycle.

Key Points

  • Works on any gateway without auto-pay: You don't need to switch gateways to sell subscriptions.
  • Fully automatic: You don't need to create or send invoices manually.
  • One-click payment: Customers pay straight from the invoice email.
  • Backup for auto-pay too: If an auto-pay charge fails, the customer automatically receives the invoice email, so you can still collect the payment.

FAQs

Is the invoice sent automatically?

Yes. An invoice email goes out to the customer every billing cycle without any action from you.

Do customers have to enter their card details again each time?

The invoice email has a payment link, so they can pay in one click.

What happens if an auto-pay payment fails?

The customer automatically gets the invoice email, and they can complete the payment from it.

What happens if the customer doesn't pay the invoice?

The payment for that cycle stays pending until the customer pays it.

Troubleshooting

  • Customer says they didn't get the invoice email: Ask them to check their spam or promotions folder, and confirm the email address on their order is correct.
  • Payment link not working: Ask the customer to open the link in a different browser, or to use the most recent invoice email.
  • Invoice sent but the subscription still shows unpaid: The payment hasn't been completed yet. Ask the customer to finish payment from the invoice email.
